ABOUT
“To be a DJ is to be a part of a diasporic & intergenerational tradition.”
My DJ practice is rooted in music, liberation, and scholarship. I believe in the power of parties as tools for community well-being.
Inspired by the work of DJ-scholars DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid and DJ Scholarship (aka Lynnee Denise), I seek to honor the lineage of DJs and musicians before me by showcasing diverse cultural sounds. From Baile Funk to Disco, DJs have carried social movements while making people groove.
My sets travel across genre and time to curate a soundscape in which we can all be free.
